Pusaka Lintas Samudra received AEO certification

Indonesian Customs and Excise awarding Authorized Economic Operator ( AEO ) certificate to 18 companies in Indonesia, one of it is PT. Pusaka Lintas Samudra, one of Kamadjaja Logistics’s subsidiary. The certificate itself are given by Bambang Brodjonegoro, Indonesian Finance Minister.

AEO certificate are given to the company that fulfill the safety and global trade standard (WCO SAFE Framework of Standards / FoS), which are : international trade facility approved by national custom administer. The AEO launch is one of the step to reduce the export and import logistics’s cost.

With the AEO certificate, the companies could easily provide the export and import transaction between companies in another country, who also using AEO system. The advantages for the company are : the faster process of customs documentation in less time with no hassle, reduce demurrage cost, giving fast information access between AEO’s holder & commodity circulation, special service in case of trade interference and increased threat, priority in a system simplification and customs procedure and recognized by Indonesian trade partners. And the most important thing is Indonesian company will be easily accepted by the exporter countries, because the customs documentation is already in the International standard.

“With this AEO certificate, we as a customs services provider hope there could be easier and more efficient in providing export and import transaction, especially with MEA 2016 now. So we can suppress the logistics cost in Indonesia eventually,” said Ivy Kamadjaja, Deputy CEO of Kamadjaja Logistics, on the celebration of Hari Pabean Internasional ke 64 in Customs Directorate main office, Rawamangun, Jakarta Timur, Tuesday, Jan 26 2016.
